In this exciting tour, we get to walk in Jesus’ footsteps and visit significant sites where notable Biblical actions took place. We begin the tour at the Church of Ascension on the Mount of Olives. As the name implies, this is where Jesus ascended to heaven and left an imprint of his foot on a slab. The tour moves on to the Church of the Pater Noster which is where Jesus taught his disciples how to pray and gave them the Lord’s prayer. Numerous slabs bearing the Lord’s prayer in different languages cover the walls of the church.

We make our descent down the Mount of Olives and get to see the old city of Jerusalem across the Kidron Valley. The tour makes a quick stop at the Dominus Flevit Church. It was designed to look like a tear shape which symbolises the tears of Christ when he wept for the destruction of Jerusalem. We also get to visit the Church of all Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed with two disciples before he was arrested and taken to the high priest. We then continue to the old city and stop briefly at the miraculous pools of Bethesda where Jesus cured the disabled person.

We proceed to the church of St. Anne and then the convent of the sisters of Zion. We then walk through the Via Doloroso taking the path Jesus walked to his crucifixion site at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and this brings the Christian tour to an end.
