Hermon and the Hermon River, stopping at Banias, a former site of a Roman city dedicated to the God Pan. The Banias boasts lush forests, streams, and waterfalls that are so beautiful, they have been compared to the Garden of Eden. We continue our journey to Kal’at Nimrod, a 13th-century fortress perched on a hilltop, offering stunning views of the Golan. Afterward, we stop for lunch at a Druze restaurant before heading to the holy Jewish city of Safed, where we tour the Caro Synagogue, Ari Synagogue, and the Artists’ Quarter. Finally, we head back south, leaving behind the Galilee and Golan.
